Behind The Design: A Northern California Beach House

For designer Chloe Redmond Warner, each project begins with letting her imagination wander. That’s exactly what she did the first time she walked through this modern Stinson Beach dwelling, a vacation house whose idyllic location between the waves and mountains invites dreaming. Warner crafted a narrative worthy of a good book, dreaming that perhaps the home had started as an old sea captain’s cabin. With this in mind, she layered pattern and color throughout the space to imbue the space with an intangible charm. ⁠
