Mill Valley is BEAUTIFUL!❤ The drawback to living there are mainly the: artsy-fartsy, pseudo intellectual, Leftist, birkenstock-shod, Prius-driving, uber-entitled, smug, virtue signaling, sanctimonious, NIMBY, trustafarians. They are insufferable, to say the least.
However, the Mayan “help” from the Canal are lovely ppl.❤

It sounds like the kind of place that is 99% white and people post black lives matter flags in their yards while fighting any zoning that allows for affordable housing to be built or diverse folks to move in.

Mill Valley lost its charm in the 80’s, I used to live there. Now pretension and snobbiness rules. Traffic in and out of town is now a nightmare. It’s a chore to shop for necessary things because nothing is there except over priced boutiques and mediocre restaurants. I have 4 cars, no real parking with narrow roads. I moved to Novato and have a 3000 ft home, 4 car parking, 1/2 acre with views to southern Marin, back up to open space, pool, poolhouse, outdoor kitchen, total privacy, no traffic, quiet dark, 1 mile to town for 1/3 the price.
