Marin County Locations Tour
CA Locations Tour 2019 for Marin County
Marin County is located in the Bay Area north of San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge and is one of California smallest counties. The county invested in land conservation very early on, so there is a ton of open space. Some call Marin the center of the nation’s organic farming movement. Visually it’s stunning and peaceful, considering across the bridge is one of the largest, lively cities in the unites states. Marin’s filming locations range from rocky coastlines to ranches, rolling hills and redwood groves.

The commentary is interesting. However, I can’t hear it because of the annoying background music. Sincerely, Dennis, San Rafael
Local hiking tip: many trails on Mt. Tam run on contour so there’s not a lot of up and down effort. Also the contour tells the story of the mountain’s intimacy:
You are hiking in chaparral. Suddenly you encounter a small redwood forest nestled into the creases of the mountain. Then you are back in chaparral.
ALSO: There is a point on these trails where you can take one step and your ears will go from hearing the ocean to hearing the roar of Bay Area freeways.
Too bad Dorothy was born in Kansas. If she were born in California, she’d know: There’s no place like Tam!
